Cross board mention as context: Your boards can now reference each other

There’s a specific moment that happens when you’re deep in a new brief and you realize you’ve mapped exactly this problem before on a different board. And now, you can easily take the whole board as context for your new task in illumi!

How? Type # to pick the board, and the context travels with this mention. When the source updates, your reference updates with it. Your past thinking becomes active context for your new tasks.

Web search: Your prompts can reach the world outside your boards

Your Note Cards hold your structured thinking. But some questions need current information to answer well: what’s happening in a market right now, what a competitor launched last week, whether a regulation recently changed.

We now support web search alongside your existing context. You get AI output grounded in both what you know and what’s happening now, and you may use this tool with various models (!).

Folders and Favourites: Organize your boards with ease

As you build more boards, folders and favourites are one of the top requests from our early users. It is now live in the app that you can group boards by client, project, or team and pin the ones you return to most.

It may look like a small change in the interface but we believe it’s a meaningful one in how it feels to navigate your work.

illumi Credits and Context Gauge: know what you’re using, top up when you need more

There’s nothing more frustrating than being in a flow state and running out of AI capacity.

So we fixed two things at once. Before you run any AI task, a Context Gauge now shows you exactly how much context you’re about to use. And when you need more capacity, you can top up your illumi Credits directly from the app, no plan changes needed.,
