Unifying Ideas, AI, and Teamwork

Are you a founder with a thousand ideas? Well, we are.

And it doesn't stop there—when you're a founder, people constantly throw new ideas at you. You try to save them for later, but when it's time to take action, these ideas need structure. Without it, collaboration becomes a struggle and teamwork descends into chaos.

In recent months, we tested at least 20 different tools claiming to solve the problem of better structuring idea and knowledge management. We made several key discoveries:

1) Personal Knowledge Management (PKM) / "Build Your Second Brain" tools are mostly designed for PERSONAL use ONLY. -> and it's not easy for them to turn into collaborative tool without fundamental architecture re-design unless this capability was designed from day 1

2) We now have AI as an additional mind for each of us, and it should accompany us through every step of our thinking process. However, this opportunity has not yet fully penetrated this area of solution.

3) AI tools are everywhere, ChatGPT, Midjourney, perplexity, Gamma... each of them has its own interface, pricing plan, specialty. but do we really need to pay every single of them and jump between them to complete our task?What if there was one place to access them all with a pay-as-you-go plan?

The struggle to find just one place that gives me what I need to focus on my ideas, allows me to call for different AI tools as needed, and supports easy sharing with my teammates drove us to build illumi.
